Family Hike to Wall Lake and the Notch

We started our hike at the Trial Lake fishermen parking lot.  It started out pretty cold, 39 degrees, but with the wind it felt a lot colder.  After we crossed the dam and got into the trees it was a lot warmer.  The day was bright and sunny.  We had lunch on the mountain and the girls even did a little wading in the lake.  We were at 10,600 feet by the time we got to the top.  We were hiking, resting and eating for about 6 hours.  On the way home we stopped at the Provo Falls which is really beautiful.  When we got to Kamas we stopped for dinner.  It was a great day!!

Happy Birthday to my Darling Daughter

Wendy Sue Stewart Campbell.  Have a great birthday and remember, as you are getting ready for the birth of your daughter, just how much fun we've had together while you were growing up.  You are in for a wonderful time.

Dream Vacation - Nuernberg Zoo

This zoo was beautiful.  We had a great time visiting with the animals.

Dream Vacation - Legoland

Legoland was lots of fun.  We took the kids while James and Kelly went to Poland.

The ship was a lot of fun.  We had a 6 to 7 course meal every night.  There were lots of activities for the kids to do.  It was fun having Grace and Lauryn sleeping in our cabin with us.  Josh came over quite a bit also but slept in his mom and dad's cabin.

After the Cruise - I Park

This is a newly remodeled park right by the apartment where James and Kelly live that is called I Park.  The kids had a great time on it.

Dream Vacation - Ancona, Italy

Ancona was founded by settlers from Syracuse about 387 BC, who gave it its name: Ancona is a very slightly modified transliteration of the Greek Αγκων, meaning "elbow"; the harbor to the east of the town was originally protected only by the promontory on the north, shaped like an elbow.

Dream Vacation - Kotor Montenegro

Dream Vacation - Kotor, Montenegro - It is 20 centuries old but there is historical evidence from the 14th Century. I loved this place. We hired a driver, Milan, to take us around. He happened to have a sister living in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Dream Vacation - Argostoli Greece

Argostoli had its first small settlement built about the mid-16th century. This was a beautiful place.  I got a blue Opal ring here.

Dream Vacation - Athens, Greece

The Acropolis has been both a fortress and the religious centre of the state. The principal cult was that of the goddess Athena and in her honour splendid temples were constructed on the Acropolis. The Parthenon was built in the last half of the 5th century B.C.  I couldn't believe that I was actually there seeing all of this with my own eyes.

Dream Vacation - Corfu, Greece

Corfu is an island in the Ionian sea. The first know Greek settlement on the island was made by the Eretrians from Euboea around 775-750 BC.  The beach was beautiful.

Fun at Lagoon

We had a fun day at Lagoon.  Nica and I decided we didn't want to go on Rattle Snake Rapids because we didn't want to get wet, so we stayed out and took pictures.  Everyone else got soaked.
