Annual Phippen Family Christmas Party

We had our annual Phippen Family Christmas yesterday. It was the warmest it's ever been for going to Salt Lake City and viewing the lights on Temple Square. We view the lights and then go to my house for chili and hot chocolate. Then I tell the right left story and the cousins get in a circle with inexpensive gifts. When I say right they pass the present to the right and so on. It was fun. Then each family shared a talent. It was lots of fun and I really look forward to this every year. I did take a tummy picture of Chelsey and Wendy who are both pregnant but apparently it didn't turn out.  Oh well, they both looked extremely cute.  Thanks to all of my family who could come.

O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree!

Right after Thanksgiving I like to decorate for Christmas and I love that my granddaughters all want to help.  Don't you think they did a great job?  We had a sleep over and went to the movie Tangled which was great.  Then headed to my house to decorate.  After we finished with the house and tree we started on our craft (we always do a craft on our sleepovers). Candy count down chains was the craft of the night.  They get to cut off one candy per day starting on December 1st.  Sure wish those Longmore Grandkids were back in town!!

Happy Thanksgiving

This was our off year for Thanksgiving, all our kids went to their In-laws, except Brian who doesn't have any in-laws yet.  They dropped by for pie later in the evening.  We all love to look at the ads for black Friday.

A sad goodbye to cousin Merodeen or Mickey. We'll miss you.
