Lynn and I went on a trip to Nauvoo, Illinois to see the early LDS church history sites. This is the LDS Nauvoo Temple
We went on Horse drawn carriage and wagon rides to look at the various homes and places of business. We saw the Tin, Blacksmith, Bakery, Brick shops
We also went to the Carthage Jail in Illinois where Joseph and Hyrum Smith were Martyred.
We also went to Winter Quarters in Nebraska where the saints stayed before they pushed on to the Salt Lake Valley.
Sort of on our way home we went to South Dakota to visit Jewel cave, Crazy Horse Monument and Mount Rushmore. It was a great trip!
