O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree!

Right after Thanksgiving I like to decorate for Christmas and I love that my granddaughters all want to help.  Don't you think they did a great job?  We had a sleep over and went to the movie Tangled which was great.  Then headed to my house to decorate.  After we finished with the house and tree we started on our craft (we always do a craft on our sleepovers). Candy count down chains was the craft of the night.  They get to cut off one candy per day starting on December 1st.  Sure wish those Longmore Grandkids were back in town!!

Happy Thanksgiving

This was our off year for Thanksgiving, all our kids went to their In-laws, except Brian who doesn't have any in-laws yet.  They dropped by for pie later in the evening.  We all love to look at the ads for black Friday.

A sad goodbye to cousin Merodeen or Mickey. We'll miss you.

The first real snowfall of the season!

The first picture is looking up my street and the other three are of my backyard.  Sure puts me in the mood for Christmas.  But no Christmas lights or music before Thanksgiving.

In October we celebrated our anniversary in Logan, Utah we went on a hike to the Wind Caves

The weather was great and the fall colors were awesome.  It was a pretty steep climb but well worth it.

The Biker Roadhouse room at the Anniversary Inn

We celebrated our anniversary in October because Kelly and James (our kids in Germany) sent us a gift certificate to the Anniversary Inn and the room we wanted wasn't available until October.  We went to the one in Logan and had a great time.

Wendy's baby shower was lots of fun!!!

Many thanks to all who came to help celebrate Wendy's coming attraction.  Baby girl Campbell is due to arrive on December 23rd.  A special thanks to those who came from so far away, Julie & Kelsey, Megan and of course Dawna and Grandma Shirley.  Due to a great combined effort from the Stewarts and the Campbells we had a successful party.
